MAINTAINING RELEVANCE.

 
 Gradually as the world grows even more to a global village, every part of it gets busy with competitions of various class, levels and degrees; just to remain relevant in the next phase of the
on-going transformation.


There is a longing in the heart of everyone to remain a major force to reckone with, maybe that’s the
reason 'most sort-after' made it to award list and men are never satisfied with certification,
always after the latest in town.

Here's what you should know "if you dont update yourself you'll become outdated"

The bible said there's nothing new under the face of the sun,
whatever you are engaged with do it acidiously. The world is looking for fresh ideas not copy and paste ideas!

The truth is be different!, you'll stand out doing it with a new formulea, you'll get a better chance when you create your
own formulea.

To update yourself, listen to talks from men of wisdom, attend seminars, rethreats, conferences, check out blogs with fresh ideas, check for updates from friends.

Just like every manufacturer brands His / Her product to make it to the top on the list of valuers,
like wise should you do whatever you are given distinctively, there are no lies about it, that's how you'll be promoted.

God created us to
always remain relevant in our
fields all the days of our life, in other words, he created us to be forever a champion.

Why?

This is the inherent nature of man, not pride but we are custom-made to be so, to dominate. That’s why everyone wants to attain the no 1 position in their various fields, to be the leader, to be seen as the set-man.

Satan missed it in God's kingdom, same with many other heroes-to-be who also got it all wrong and died unhonoured,
unwept and unsung.

The day a product losses its relevance, the value in the stock
market starts to drop until bankruptcy sets in, safe something be done. So what happens when a man losses relevance? or why pursue relevance with so much will?

When a man losses it, He is forgotten, his chapter is closed
as far as man's record is concerned.

The new cot Jesus
rode into Jerusalem? It was relevant for that purpose, I stand
to be corrected but it was never made mentioned of again,When Jesus left it.

There is no relevance
without Jesus, you might be thinking of that rich and influential man that’s living without Jesus and when matters
arises he alone answers to them.

May I say that a man is only relevant when in line with God's
script? They might just be running another man's race so
well, they are out of it.!

They are even an item of merchandise or
manipulation in the hands of the devil, they have lost it, only
awaiting replacement.
Why be in the scene for 70 years, when I
can be on the spotlight for eternity to come?

Friends, no man is relevant except when in ally with Jesus, He knows the next line and the next happening, why
not stay connected?

Daniel served with four administrations .
What a relevant man! Can you remember that demon saying,
'Jesus I know, Paul I know' what a relevant man, even in hell, he
was recognised !

Can you remember Modeciah? Riding on
the king's horse? What of Joseph?

These are men that never lost relevance with God in studying
and prayer like Daniel,
in preaching like Paul, in sexual purity like Joseph, in sole
dependency on God like Modeciah, in waiting on God like John the beloved, in faith like Abraham.... People that never
screwed up their walk with God...that returned to their first
love, Jesus and stayed glued, they remained relevant for life.

One thing i realize in chasing our dreams is that we'll achieve
them. What else does a man need after building houses, marrying a wife, giving birth to children and buying luxurious cars?

We need one major thing after all these, nations are fighting to get it, but it keeps running, they've set up targets, made budgets, cracked their heads to an hypertensive state. But it is still running...
What is that? PEACE!

What will you do when another man keeps chasing you because of your achievement?

The truth is you'll wonder what you have done, in the process you'll be left with no peace. But
you need peace to enjoy all those
achievements.

What can fetch you that peace? It is Jesus, when you are rich and you have Jesus, you'll enjoy your riches.

In whatever pursuit you are now. Seek him first, getting there would seem like taking skimmed
milk
